The BHS Class-of-61 had a reunion in June of 2002, at Harry's Savoy Grille on Naamans Road in Wilmington, with close to 100 people attending (including spouses and guests). We had a great time, as you can glean from the pictures shown below. Note that some of these pictures have large file sizes, so to accommodate those with slow speed Internet connections, each picture link must be clicked individually to view the picture. (Just use your web browser's "Back" button or arrow to get back from each picture.)
We had a little pre-reunion warmup at Don Wood's house, where the reunion committee downed a bottle of very fine 1961 wine provided by Ralph Pepe [Salesianum '61]. (The people pictured below are -- left to right -- Ralph Pepe, Nick Cupery, Rose Pepe, Jack Meeks, Henrietta [Davis] Apsley, Steve Apsley, Carol Wood, and Don Wood.)

The reunion itself involved mostly just milling around in one large room at Harry's, talking to each other and listening to oldies music.

Don Wood arranged a private group tour of Brandywine High School for us the next day, where we were amazed by the modern computers and gym equipment that had been added since our day.
